Technical Program Manager
We are looking for an experienced technical program manager to drive key functional and technical areas for the Mifos platform. This position is critical to the success of Mifos and will ensure that both the functionality and the underlying infrastructure for Mifos are rock solid. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a passion for delivering tangible, customer-focused results, and experience working with open source software efforts. The technical program manager will own specific functional areas and will work closely with others on the program management and software development teams, as well as with external partners developing for or deploying Mifos.
Software Development Manager
We are seeking to augment our current development team with a strong software development manager to oversee software development efforts within the Mifos Initiative. The Mifos Software Development Manager will oversee a small team of staff developers and coordinate with external developers – contract and volunteer – as well as the Mifos program management team to build a world-class platform for microfinance.
The ideal candidate will have extremely strong technical skills, experience managing developers, a solid focus on customer-facing requirements, and familiarity with open source software development and agile development methodologies. This is a hands-on position; the software development manager will be expected to work in the code as well as at a management and strategic level.

Software Developer
We are seeking to augment our current development team with a strong software developer to work with the technology team in building Mifos, a world-class software platform for the microfinance community. The software developer will be heavily code-focused, developing features, writing tests, and reviewing code from other developers on the project. The developer will also be expected to participate in discussions and decision making concerning technology direction as well as to be a core, trusted member of the Mifos developer community.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong developer – heavily code-focused – and will have significant experience with open-source development efforts, strong communication skills, a minimum of 3 years experience with Java/J2EE, experience and exposure to agile and test-driven development methodologies.
Product/Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced product/marketing manager to drive key market development efforts for the Mifos initiative. This position will play a critical role in ensuring Mifos becomes an industry standard for microfinance information management globally. The primary focus for the position will be in market outreach and channel development efforts, owning strategy development and execution for specific regions. They will also drive business and market analysis for the Mifos channel and Mifos Initiative overall.
