In the domestic airport in Mumbai, India, at the moment - on my way to Bangalore for three days and then back to Seattle on Friday. I have to say, India’s a long-ass ways away (as in circumnavigating the globe: Seattle->Amsterdam->Mumbai->Bangalore->Bangkok->Tokyo->Seattle) for a short five day trip. Here are a few interesting tidbits about the Mumbai airport…
Not sure if this was intentional, but so far there’s bee no ID check. I think I have to show the boarding card one more time (I’ve gone through security already) so maybe then? Also, free WiFi from Airtel is available - fire up the browser, enter a mobile number, and get a username and password via SMS. Couldn’t be simpler.
