Sitting at the airport at SeaTac waiting to board flight to Amsterdam, where I’ll be for three days before heading to Nairobi for three days and then back to Seattle. A few random notes/comments:
- Yes, going to Nairobi for three days is absurd
- Travelling as a non-smoker is way better than travelling as a smoker
- I don’t understand the use case for old skool briefcases
- Is it odd that my laptop bag weighs more than my roll-aboard bag for clothes? Maybe that has something to do with my irrational need to carry 3 batteries, 4 books, 2 moleskines, a sheaf of reading materials…
- and then to load it further by going to the Hudson News and buying 2 magazines (Fast Company and Inc.) and one more book (giving me a total of 6 for this trip, including the one that’s squeezed into the roll-aboard.
- It annoys me that I can’t create new blog categories in ecto even though I don’t use blog categories.

Update: two more things
- I went to the actual site of my blog and remembered that I never fixed up the theme… blech. That will happen someday in the future.
- Gotta turn off but it’s rad that I can use the AT&T aircard to blog from the plane at the gate…
