So it turns out that if you mix the Naked Juice "Blue Machine" flavor with Absolut (regular, not flavored), the resulting concoction tastes NOT like delicious blueberry vodka deliciousness but instead like...
Beef Jerky.
I like jerky, but this is somewhat disappointing.

OK, so as others before me have learned... getting online for email/Skype/blogging at 60 mph from the backseat of a Manhattan-bound taxi is pretty rad. It'll be interesting to see how this works in the Holland Lincoln Tunnel... (update: it works fine, I get carsick easily, and checking Google maps ...

I just passed on both the French toast and omelette options for breakfast on the plane (got upgraded, so the options are actually palatable) and instead went for the fruit plate alone.

My search continues for the perfect plane headphones (or earphones). I used to have a pair of Etymotics ER-6 earphones that I loved... but then I left them on a plane somewhere. I've now got a pair from m.audio that are just a rebranded version of the Ultimate Ears super fi.5 ...

I always forget how unbelievably big the Sahara desert is. It's really super big.
On a flight from Amsterdam to Nairobi and finally getting the battery life Dell promised for my XPS M1210... which is both nice and a bit annoying as it means that maybe I didn't need to carry ...
