Just got back from a short trip to Nairobi during which I:
- landed at the airport
- took a taxi to the Holiday Inn
- stayed at the Holiday Inn for three days
- attended a workshop at the Holiday Inn
- took a taxi to the airport
- flew home
Really? I don’t think that’s the best way to travel to Africa. The Mifos workshop was hugely successful, though, primarily to the rockstar team working on the project… so it was a worthwhile trip.

I feel your pain. Currently in Lisboa for 72 hours and it’s much the same drill . . . I guess it’s all that time logged on planes and hotels that makes us “worldly”
